2024 Events
Every summer, members of the Pyrotechnic Guild International assemble for the PGI annual convention. It’s a full week of entertainment and education, with nightly fireworks shooting and beautiful displays. Hundreds of people gather from all across the country to spend time with other pyrotechnic enthusiasts, learn from expert professionals and hobbyists, purchase supplies, and share their creativity.
The IPAs Annual Fireworks Extravaganza!
Held at the Benton County Fairgrounds, at the South end of Town, the IPA is Preparing to Knock Your Socks Off, with One of the Largest, and Coolest Fireworks Display in the Midwest. A “Pyro Clock” consisting of Salutes (Aerial Bursts) mark each passing hour beginning at 4 (or Earlier).
After the Raising of Our Flag and the National Anthem (Done to Fireworks of Course!), We begin with our Handmade Shells built by our Members, which Rival and/or exceed the performance of anything Store Bought.
With Seating for you, your family, and Approximately 15,000 of Your Closest Friends, Members of the Club Show Off their Handmade Shells (Shot one at a time for your full appreciation).
Our Junior Pyros (our under 18 Members) will wow You with an amazing 1.4 (consumer-grade) Fireworks Show You will Swear was done by Professional Pyrotechnicians.
Next, Hang on for the Best Fireworks Display you will likely see in your Lifetime, as we pull out all the Stops, and “Let her rip”! Choreographed to Music, it seems it will never End.
Prior to the Event, On the Fairgrounds Proper, you will find Food of every Description Courtesy of our Vendors, Music provided by some of the areas Best Bands, and of Course a Beer Tent to quash the Thirst Brought on by our Late Summer Heat.
If You are an IPA Member (and you can join at the Show), You, and Your Family can Pitch Your Lawn Chairs ON the Track, and be up close and Personal with the Show!
Even if you are simply a Spectator – all this for 10 bucks per Seat! OR as we said previously, you can join at the Show and sit on the track with Us… FREE!, Family Membership is only 25 bucks per year for You, Your Significant Other, and any children living with you, under 18 years of age. Bring out the Family, sit trackside, and Join us for a Truly one-of-a-kind, amazing experience.
